Basic Tank, & Seat Layout

You can see in this pic that the neck gusset has gotten a little bit of haircut. I don't like the 'country bar' either. The tube going from the top motor mount on the frame up the neck. But this is pretty important for frame intergrity. Rolling Thunder tied it into the motor tube as well with a nice full wrap TIG weld. I am contemplating adding speed holes to it with redundant tubing slugs to maintain the tubes strength. I just don't want to go overboard with the speed hole vibe. Careful placement and observation of the total number of them on the bike is my mantra.

Neck Gusset

I had to add some shape to this. Right now it solely designed for function. The welds are bitchin but the shape blows. I will punch some 'speed' holes in it at a later date too.

Chopper Views

A few isometric views to show off proportions, shape, general layout. I chose this style frame solely for the straight lines. Choppers should have a straight line from the rear axle to the neck. It just adds to the whole 'going fast, standing still' look that I dig.

Chopper Start

Here it is, the very first pics of the bike coming together. 4up, 2out rigid. 200 tire, LSD, 8 over front end, no bullshit chopper
